Water Wish’s mission is to care for humanity holistically. At a minimum, we believe every person deserves basic food, clothing, shelter, and clean water. For many years, Water Wish has built clean water wells all over the world. We have distributed care packages, sponsored daily breakfast and iftar programs, built women’s shelters, and distributed protein-rich Qurbani meat in desperately poor areas.

What makes Water Wish unique is that we are concerned with the whole human being so that each person we serve can hope to strive for a better future.

✿  Humans also need loving care, so Water Wish builds orphanages for displaced children.

✿  People need safety, so Water Wish has made women’s shelters and has purchased buses to safely take young girls to/from school.

✿  People need an education, so Water Wish builds schools and establishes educational programs.

✿  People need healthcare, so Water Wish provided soap and sanitizer in refugee camps and synthetic limbs for bombing victims.

✿  People need dignity, so Water Wish has built bathrooms in places where they used the streets for daily needs.

✿  People need to worship, so Water Wish has built wudu stations and prayer spaces.

✿  People need safe neighborhoods, so Water Wish has sponsored wells that are shared with people of all faiths and helped resettle Syrian refugees.

✿  People even need love and companionship, so Water Wish sponsors a yearly event that helps poor and neglected people get married and then set them up in a simple but well-stocked home with a bicycle so they can get to a job.

All of these projects are made possible by contributions from people like you. Please keep the work of Water Wish and the people they serve in your prayers. Whether it’s a monthly donation, your yearly zakat, or even $1 dollar given from your heart, this generosity keeps Water Wish and its programs going.

Somalia Water Crisis

As many as 43,000 people might have died as a result of drought in Somalia last year, according to a report published this week by the Somalian government, the UN children’s agency UNICEF and the World Health Organization.Credit: Jerome Delay/AP/Shutterstock

Water Wish NFP Somali Land Water Project Campaign is $5=1 Barrel.

As we watch the tragedy in Turkey and Syria unfold, we all long to share our blessings and our duas with our brothers and sisters overseas.  We must stand with the Ummah because they are counting on us.
Alhamdulillah, many relief agencies are trying hard to help people in the population centers, but  there are people in the outskirts of Turkey’s larger towns who cannot reach that assistance. They  are begging for our help — praying that we will listen.
Therefore, Water Wish NFP is coordinating with our people on the ground to distribute funds directly in some of these smaller villages.  Please donate as much as you can to bring some ease to the lives of the people who are suffering so much.
You may go to our website www.waterwish.org and donate by credit card, bank transfer or PayPal,
OR
contribute through Zelle to the email address [email protected].
May Allah swt help us fulfill our intentions and may He reward you all abundantly. Ameen.
